This policy/terms are valid and deemed accepted through the use of our services, together with all the terms and policies listed below:


Cancellation and refund policy

Effective Date: 6.12.2024.

This policy details the procedures for service cancellations and refunds on Optimum Web Host. By using our Website, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.

1. Refunds
Refunds are issued in accordance with this policy, which may also be detailed on our Website or during the purchase process. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

2. Consumer & Business Cancellations
Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly and Triennially Payment Plans: Customers may cancel within 30 days of Order Acceptance for a full refund. Refunds beyond these periods are not provided unless explicitly agreed or required by law.

3. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible. If you are exercising your right to cancel within the eligible period, refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

4. Refunds for Service Changes or Errors
You may terminate the Service immediately and receive a refund for any unused portion if:

We notify you of changes to the Services or Fees that you do not agree with.
We make an error in pricing or description that you do not accept.
Service delivery is significantly delayed due to uncontrollable events.
Services are suspended for more than one month due to technical reasons.

5. Termination by You
If you terminate the Service without a specific legal right, the Service will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

No refunds will be provided for advance payments unless explicitly agreed in writing.

6. Termination by Us
We may terminate this Agreement or any Service at any time by providing you with at least five (5) Business Days’ notice. If we do so:

We will issue a pro-rata refund for any prepaid Fees covering the period after termination.

7. Termination for Breach
We may terminate your Service immediately if you:

Fail to make payment when due and do not pay within 14 days of a reminder.
Fail to provide required information for service provision within a reasonable timeframe.
Breach any obligation under Hosting Terms of Service.
Are unable to pay debts when due or enter insolvency proceedings.
Have a receiver or administrator appointed over your assets.
Are subject to a bankruptcy petition.
Enter into any creditor composition or similar arrangement.

If termination occurs due to breach:

We may deduct or charge reasonable compensation for incurred costs. Any prepaid Fees may be refunded at our discretion, minus deductions for breach-related costs.

8. Termination Due to Extended Uncontrollable Events
If an Event Outside Our Control (e.g., natural disasters, regulatory actions) continues for 30 days or more, either party may terminate the Agreement by written notice (e-mail).

You will be refunded any prepaid Fees for undelivered Services.
We will not be liable for additional costs, losses, or damages resulting from termination.

Payment obligations for Fees already due remain in effect unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Non-Refundable Fees
Certain Fees are non-refundable, including:

Domain name registration fees (Domains remain registered for their term).
SSL Certificate fees (SSL Certificates remain active for their term).
Third-party software or services purchased through us.

10. Domain Registration Refunds
All domains are registered through our partners or upstream registrars. We cannot guarantee the availability of a domain until registration is confirmed. If a domain you attempt to register is unavailable after payment, you will receive a full refund.

Domains are a non-refundable product. If a free domain is registered with any hosting plan, after the cancellation of the hosting plan, a partial refund will be issued (domain cost will be deducted). We provide domains promptly, but if we are unable to deliver a domain within 72 hours, we will issue a refund to the customer.

All domain prices listed are for standard domains and not so called “premium domains” which may have special prices and payment obligations.

If you host any phishing or abusive content, the domain will be suspended by the registrar. We are not responsible for such suspensions and as per our terms domains are non-refundable.

11. Legal Rights
We are legally required to provide Services with reasonable care and skill. If you are a Consumer, you have the right to:

Request a repeat or repair if the Service is not performed properly.
Receive a refund if we cannot fix an issue within a reasonable timeframe.
